AbleLiving Services is currently hiring a Full Time Personal Attendants to join our Outreach Team working in the community. This position requires availability for day or evening and weekend shifts. 

 

 *A driver's license and a reliable vehicle are requirements of this position.*

Your Role as a Personal Attendant
As part of our Outreach Team, you'll be working in the community to provide essential non-medical support services, helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Supporting life-skills development.
  • Helping with light housekeeping and meal prep.
  • Escorting and arranging transportation to appointments.
  • Creating meaningful connections and providing compassionate care.

What You Bring
We’re looking for caring, reliable, and motivated individuals who are ready to grow with us. Our ideal candidate:

  • Has experience supporting individuals with disabilities and/or seniors.
  • Possesses additional certifications in personal care, first aid, or healthcare (preferred but not required).
  • Empathizes with people and builds meaningful relationships.
  • Has basic math skills for tasks like medication counting or household planning.
  • Is fluent in English (other languages are an asset).
  • Holds a valid driver’s license and has a reliable vehicle (required).
  • Can provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check or Criminal Reference Check.

 

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (6 months)
