Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager, this position is responsible for supervising all aspects of program-related service provision to clients. Provides supervision and support to the front-line staff to ensure excellence in client service provision. Provides input into the development, monitoring and assessment of client services and makes recommendations for improvement as necessary. Manages the selection, recruitment, training and performance of all direct reports. This position also includes providing personal care as needed. 

Employment Guide:

  • Diploma or degree in social sciences, RPN diploma or educational equivalent, with at least three years related experience in health and social services environment, or related experience required
  • Previous experience working in a 24/7 environment and/or with people with disabilities.
  • Experience in providing direct care to seniors and/or people with disabilities an asset.
  • Ability to act as a role model and influence others; foster effective team work; and lead by example are essential for this position.
  • Superior problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task interact with a diverse range of people is essential for this position.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite and data base management and have solid analytical and report writing skills.
  • Prior knowledge of the Ontario health care system, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA); Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA); and Employment Standards an asset for this position.
  • Must be highly skilled at communicating in English (both verbally and in writing).
  • Must possess a valid driving license and reliable vehicle.

Job Type: 1 Full-time, permanent. 40 hours per week.
