AbleLiving Services is currently hiring Full-Time (contract) Registered Nurse to join our Binbrook Team. 

AbleLiving Services is a not-for-profit organization that provides services funded through Ontario Health. Our Binbrook location is a 52-bed home that includes permanent beds, transitional beds, and 6 beds for clients who require ventilator assistance.

 

AbleLiving Services is eligible to hire nurses who meet the required criteria for the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN). As an eligible nurse, you could receive up to $25,000 within a 24-month period.

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing health care services relative to the identified needs of the clients which include ventilator-supported clients and individuals with disabilities. The role is also responsible for supervising staff, and exercising judgment in maintaining the operation of the facility in the absence of senior personnel.

 

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse certification with current license in good standing
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and families as required
  • Experience working with people with disabilities and/or seniors is an asset
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment experience welcome, but not necessary (necessary education and training as part of the orientation).

 

Job Type: Full-Time, 2 month contract.
