Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare the café area for service
- Operate the tuck cart and café service
- Handle cash transactions (cash only)
- Serve occasional kitchen specials provided by the dietary team
- Maintain a clean and welcoming café environment
- Clean tables, sweep floors, and assist with general café upkeep
- Foster positive relationships with residents, staff, families, and visitors through excellent customer service
Qualifications/Skills/Expectations:

Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Good communication and listening skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Comfortable handling cash transactions
- Teamwork; able to work with a variety of people
- Understand the need for confidentiality
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Job Type: Casual/Volunteer (unpaid)
